Colonial Athletes Contribute
More than Muscle

There is little doubt that both the women's and the men's basketball teams have the highest profile of all of the athletic teams on campus. However, Colonial athletes compete in 22 sports in the NCAA's Division I, the highest level of amateur athletics in the nation.

Campus Plans Highlight Change
for the Future

The student experience at GW will continue to evolve, thanks to 21st century plans that make the most of GW's assets while improving campus life.

In September, the DC Zoning Commission unanimously approved GW's proposal to replace Pelham Hall on the Mount Vernon Campus with a new residence hall featuring extra student space and more than triple the amount of beds that are there now. The added extracurricular space will be used for meetings, rehearsals, and other student activities.
